General Services Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Services Manager (GSM) to join our team. The GSM will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high quality hotel and catering services, building & maintenance services that meet legislative compliance, project management, managing retirement living options, troubleshooting and providing basic education and support in the use of IT.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Responsibility for ensuring quality standard hotel and catering services

  • Responsibility for the facility environment and equipment, ensuring fit for purpose and maintenance is legislatively compliant

  • Maintain Riverview’s Emergency & Disaster Management Plan

  • Review identified risks, hazards and reported incidents, investigate and implement corrective action

  • Provide basic troubleshooting in IT and support and education

  • Assist in the coordination and rollout of projects

 

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in or proven experience in managing hotel, catering, building and maintenance services, and project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other senior management
  • Knowledge of relative legislative requirements
  • High standard of basic computing skills and use of hardware such as laptops, iPad, android phones etc
  • Experience in the aged care sector is a plus but not essential

People and Culture Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Manager (PCM) to join our team. The PCM will be responsible for overseeing the HR and IR functions for all Riverview employees. This role involves developing, recommending, and implementing HR and IR policies and procedures to drive a strong organisational culture and high employee satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HR and IR functions for all employees

  • Develop, recommend, and implement HR and IR policies and procedures

  • Drive strong organisational culture and high employee satisfaction

  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements

  • Work closely with the CEO, Clinical Care Manager, General Services Manager, and Finance Officer

  • Act as the organisation’s return to work coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in or proven experience in HR and IR management

  • Strong understanding of HR and IR policies and procedures

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management

  • Knowledge of legislative requirements related to HR and IR

Cleaning Staff are responsible for performing all domestic cleaning duties required to maintain a safe, infection free, clean environment for residents and staff by following established procedures and work practices.

Essential

  • Holds and maintains satisfactory Police/NDIS check no more than 3 years old

Desirable

  • Previous work experience as a cleaner

Registered Nurse

PERMANENT part time

Position Overview:

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of high quality person centred care that meets each resident’s own needs, goals and preferences, is in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards and the values, policies and procedures of Riverview. Registered Nurses supervise enrolled nurses and personal care attendants, and work with general practitioners and allied health professionals to provide the best possible care and services for Riverview residents. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential

  • Registered as a Nurse with AHPRA and holds current practising certificate

  • Maintains and holds a satisfactory police check no more than 3 years’ old

Desirable

  • Gerontic Nursing Certificate
  • Previous experience in aged care setting
