Our People

We are blessed to have a talented and dedicated team of highly skilled staff that truly care for
the wellbeing of each and every one of our residents and their families.

With 24-hour nursing care, the latest in technology and a range of activities and support services, our staff team
take pride in striving to provide “Excellence in Christian Care” and enhancing the quality of life for each of our residents.

 

Our Executive

Nicolle Jachmann

Chief Executive Officer

Nicolle was appointed by the board to the newly created position of Chief Executive Officer in January 2017 to manage the day to day business operations of Riverview Lutheran Rest Home. Nicolle's role is to provide leadership to the Riverview team by inspiring, motivating and empowering others on the journey of implementing the Riverview Strategic Plan and achieving our vision of "Excellence in Christian Care".

Nicolle is a Certified Practising Accountant and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has over 25 years' experience in Finance and Business and People Management.

Rebekah Nikolajevic

Director of Nursing

Bek was appointed to the newly created position of Director of Nursing in November 2016, previously our Clinical Care Nurse, Bek commenced at Riverview in July 2016 and has a wealth of knowledge and many year's experience in the aged care industry.

Initially commencing her working life as a Carer, Bek has studied and progressed her way up in the aged care industry. Having worked in various roles in both public and private aged care facilities, Bek has an excellent understanding of the industry and resident needs, and is leading our Nursing/Carer staff in providing Excellence in Christian Care.

Our Management Team

Julie Bodinnar

Residential Accommodation Manager

Julie has been part of the Riverview team since August 2015 and has a broad background having worked in customer service, finance, administration, operations and resource management across a variety of organisations.

Julie has a passion for assisting families throughout the often stressful process of navigating the pathway of entry into the aged care system. Julie can assist respite and new permanent residents and their families both on admission to Riverview and also throughout their stay.

Lyn Murdoch

HR & Domestic Services Manager

Lyn joined the Riverview team in September 2013. Lyn has worked in a variety of administrative positions in both the Health sector and other industries. As a former nurse Lyn has a good understanding of employment issues and opportunities within our industry.

Lyn takes care of the day to day human resoure functions here at Riverview, and also looks after our domestic services department.

Pastoral Care

Rev. David Buck

Rev Buck is an experienced Lutheran Pastor who attends Riverview each week to conduct services in our Chapel and spend quality one to one and group time with residents and their families.

We are privileged to have Rev Buck as part of the Riverview team, providing Christian understanding, care and support in times of need.
